I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. No matter where life has taken me, I somehow always find my way back to the beautiful desert. I truly love it here and am a proud native.
In 2000, I graduated from Silverado High School with a Valedictorian diploma. I furthered my education at the University of Nevada-Reno and University of Nevada-Las Vegas, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2006. Before graduating, I took a few years hiatus to pursue a personal dream of mine.
I moved to California to train with a speed skating team in hopes of qualifying for the Olympics. Unfortunately, my dream was derailed by injuries. However, those injuries solidified my passion for physical therapy and confirmed that was the career path for me.
After working as a physical therapy technician for a few years, I decided it was time to return to school. In 2010, I graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. I was fortunate to begin my career treating almost exclusively pelvic health and more specifically chronic pelvic pain. I have attended numerous continuing education courses to further my knowledge of pelvic floor therapy. I absolutely love this specialty for its challenging nature and find great satisfaction in helping this significantly underserved population.
