Hard to believe that l’ve been a practicing Physical Therapist for over 25 years!
I Graduated from Saint Louis Universityin 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in PhysicalTherapy. I began
my career at an acute care hospital that allowed me theopportunity to provide patient care in a variety
of specialty areas ranging from intensive care, pain management, inpatient rehabilitation, and
outpatient orthopaedics. After gaining experience in these various diagnostic areas Idetermined that
my passion was caring for those with orthopaedic iniuries including amputations.
At that time Idecided to pursue graduate school. I obtained a Master of Health Science with an
emphasis on Orthopaedics from the University of lndianapolis in 20O1. Soon after graduation I obtained
orthopaedic Specialist Certification from TheAmerican Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
My professional experience has been quite diverse including teaching PT and PTA students, serving as a
center coordinator of clinical education at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, managing outpatient
orthopaedic and directaccess clinics, collaborating in workplace wellnessand establishing post
rehabilitation programs. Specialty areas of interest include pre and post prosthetic rehabilitation, dance
medicine, and manual therapy.
Moving to Las Vegas has brought many opportunities including providing onsite physical therapy for
Caesars Entertainment employees as well as an independent contract treating the Jubilee! cast and crew
backstage before andafter performances. I also developeda pointe screening program for young
dancers who desireto advance their ballet skills.
Whenever possible you will find me hiking or climbing the beautiful mountains surrounding Las Vegas.
l’m an enthusiastic member of the 52 peaks club. I also enjoy skiing and performing function based high
intensity work outs at Lifetime Athletic.
